Effect of electron-electron interactions on the propagation of ultrashort voltage pulses in a Mach–Zehnder interferometer

Електронні інтерферометри розглядаються як можливі кандидати для створення електронних кубітів для передавання квантової інформації. Такий режим вимагає використання надшвидких імпульсів напруги, тривалість яких менша за час прольоту через пристрій. Розуміння відповідних фізичних процесів за наявності таких коротких збуджень вимагає належного врахування електрон-електронних взаємодій. У цій статті зроблено крок у цьому напрямку шляхом моделювання інтерферометра Маха–Цендера з часовим розділенням та розгляду взаємодій в наближенні залежного від часу середнього поля. Виявлено, що основним наслідком взаємодії є перенормування швидкості імпульсу. Важливо зазначити, що інтерференційні ефекти виявляються стійкими до наявності взаємодій.
